Football coaching jobs in China: prepare a focused profile

Match your coaching experience to the age group, programme and responsibilities of an actual role.

Choose the coaching environment

Distinguish school football, youth academies, community programmes and performance roles. Ask about age groups, session frequency, coaching language and development objectives. A technical director's programme oversight differs from a session coach's daily duties; job titles alone do not establish the scope.

Make your qualifications verifiable

Provide the awarding association, qualification level and current licence status. Summarise the age groups, teams and responsibilities you have coached. AFC's official education information explains its member-association qualification framework; the employer should confirm the qualification and registration relevant to the proposed role.

Show your coaching practice

Prepare a concise session plan, a player-development example and professional references. Explain how you adapt to ability and age, communicate with colleagues and protect young players. Use anonymised examples or material you are authorised to share; do not include children's personal information in a public portfolio.

Verify the actual opportunity

Confirm the employer, location, contract, compensation and permission to work before committing. Role examples on a recruitment website do not establish an open vacancy. Coaching credentials support assessment but do not guarantee employment, recognition by a local association or immigration approval.
